After two truly wonderful workshops in 2025 and 2026, I'm returning to beautiful Northern Spain once more — and this time, the tour is more intimate than ever. Whether you've joined me on one of my workshops before, or this is the first time you're discovering my work, I'd love to have you along

Small Group Experience

I'm keeping things exceptionally personal: the group is capped at 4 photographers. My wife Sabrina joins me to handle logistics and organization on the ground, and together we travel the coast in one shared van — just the group, in a close, familiar atmosphere, for the whole week.

A group this small means I can work individually with each participant, every single day. Whether you're refining your composition, working through a technical challenge, or developing your own visual language, you get my full, undivided attention — something that simply isn't possible in a larger group.

Aside from the stunning scenery, this trip is about a great experience and real connection. We'll experience Northern Spain in spring — from warm sun on the coast to cold rain clouds rolling through the mountain forests, sometimes within the same day. Combine that with time to relax, local wine, and good tapas. In Italy, they call this "dolce vita." In Spain, it's alegría de vivir. Landscape Photography and more

Northern Spain gives you an incredible variety to photograph — dramatic seascapes, wonderful details inside the Flysch rocks, picturesque fishing villages, or even quiet forest details. I'll guide you through all of it, from composition and camera settings in the field to a bit of post-processing guidance along the way — whether you're just getting confident behind the camera or looking to sharpen skills you already have. However you shoot, you'll come home with images that are unmistakably yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What skill level do I need for this photography tour? Both beginners and advanced photographers are welcome. You should be comfortable operating your camera — I'll take care of the rest, from composition to long-exposure technique.

What gear should I bring? A camera you know how to operate, a sturdy tripod, and ND / graduated filters for the coastal long exposures. I'll go through filter technique with you in the field.

Is a single room available? Yes — a single room supplement is available for €611 (€4,099 total).

Will the tour be in English? Yes. The tour is conducted in German and English, and all trip information is available in English on request.

Why is the group limited to just 4 people? It's the heart of this tour — a small group lets me give every participant real, individual coaching time in the field, rather than splitting attention across a crowd. Because spots are limited, I'd recommend booking early.

Who organizes the trip logistics? My professional travel partner, Thürmer Tours, organizes the tour on the ground exactly according to my plans and vision — including accommodation, transport, travel insurance, and flight-booking assistance.
