Drei Zinnen milky way (Tre Cime, Italy)this is an image I had envisioned and planned ever since I first visited this incredible place. In early September 2018 the milky way lined up in perfect position. All it took was a clear night sky. So glad I got what I had hoped for. And I took glowing Mars as a bonus in the frame.

Hintersee night, Berchtesgaden (Germany, 2017)I was still inside the water with my wellies when the moon threw a beautiful light onto the scene that had a ghostly feel with the twinkling stars and moving clouds. The artificial lights of the hotel troubled me until I had the idea to capture a lighttrail of a moving car to balance the artificial light of the hotels. I think it worked out pretty good with natural and artificial light well balanced, yet separated, in the shot.
Hamnøy aurora (Lofoten Norway)One of the most beautiful places in the world: the view from the bridge at Hamnøy, Lofoten. It was a special night when the aurora danced making this place even more special.
