the frozen chapel (Skógafoss, Iceland)This waterfall is so impressive you cannot help but feel in complete awe. The frozen surrounding made it appear even more other worldly.

Drama Drangarnir (Faroe Islands, 2018 - edit 2019)You need a scout to go to this spot. That evening there was just seascape heaven: a fantastic and epic landscape, exciting water motion and an awesome sunset.

Diamonds strewn (Iceland, 2019 - edit 2020)Diamond beach in Iceland. A popular site. But all it needs is two hundred steps away from the people and you are all by yourself. Finally, on my third time to this island, the conditions were nice to get away with something I really like.
Gásadalur (Faroe Islands)it looks like straight out of a fairy tale: the waterfall Mulafossur drops 60m straight down into the ocean. And in the back the lights of Gásadalur welcome the dark of the night.
Lítla Dímun (Faroe Islands)It’s the only island of the Faroes that has no people living on it. And for me it is the perfect subject for an image that combines the beauty, the rawness and the longing side of nature.

sunrise at Praia da Adraga (Portugal) An unforgettable sunrise at this natural arch. I had a good splash from a huge wave while shooting earlier during blue hour. So I was taking this one with wet pants rolled up to my knees and my wet shoes and socks waiting in the sand.
Golden morning, Hintersee Berchtesgaden (Germany)It took a while after sunrise until the sunlight made it onto those trees on the rocks. But than it made for an amazing view with a perfect reflection.
Ursa beach, Praia da Ursa (Portugal)Rocks, stone, soft water and gentle lines of the water. This is beauty to me.
Zauberwald falls, Berchtesgaden (Germany, 2017)Zauberwald (Berchtesgaden), GermanyHintersee right behind that forest is well known and often photographed (from me as well). Surprisingly there are not so many shots from this gorgeous enchanted forest and its stream Ache. A real beauty with moss covered branches that make it appear like fallen out of time.
Gollinger Mühle (Austria, 2017)We went to shoot the Gollinger waterfalls. And just a few meters away from there this picturesque mill was waiting to end up in a long exposure.
Rakotzbrücke (Germany, 2017)I thought I add something different to a shot that has been taken a million times already. So I threw a stone.
quiet beauty, Ammersee (Germany, 2016)it was an unforgettable night at Ammersee, Bavaria Germany. I found a very quiet place all for myself to shoot sunset and later into the night. If you need to cleanse your soul, that´s the way.
